Job summary

Davis Heating, Cooling and Electrical is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to join our team and diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems in customers' homes across Lynchburg and surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to exceptional customer service. You will perform maintenance, communicate clearly with clients, and adhere to safety standards while contributing to a stable, growth-focused company.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a HVAC Service Technician.
• Proven expertise in diagnosing and repairing HVAC issues in residential settings.
• Detail-oriented with strong multitasking skills.
• Effective communication skills and comfort interacting with customers.
• Valid Driver's License (Company policy requires all drivers to be at least 21 years old.)

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation units
• Perform routine maintenance and system inspections
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding service issues and solutions
• Document work performed, including parts used and services completed
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed
