Job summary

Reliance Heating and Air Conditioning in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Experienced HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and service residential and commercial HVAC systems. Join a family-owned, third-generation company that values quality work and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
• Experience in the HVAC industry or other trades.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, charging charts, nameplates, etc.
• Familiarity with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques, including variable speed inverters and zoning systems.
• Experience in informing, offering, and educating clients on repair and replace decisions.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• Enjoy interacting with customers and coworkers.
• Desire to perform at a high standard.
• Ability to follow proper safety protocols.
• Clean and neat appearance.
• Share our core values of honesty and integrity.
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, work in attics and tight spaces, and climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service appointments and perform system diagnostics, emergency repairs, preventative and predictive repairs, and regular maintenance.
• Major component repairs, including compressors, coils, and TXVs.
• Utilize Service Titan, Podium, and various vendor/tool applications for efficient service.
• Strive to deliver a 5-star experience to every client.
• Maintain van inventory and keep equipment and tools in top condition.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Position: Experienced HVAC Service Technician

Reliance Heating & Air Conditioning is looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. Pay Scale: $60,000-$120,000/yr. DOE

Work Hours: Full-time position with seasonal work hours from 7 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. (Overtime, evenings, and rotating weekends required seasonally - not year-round!)

Universal EPA Certification.

1+ years of HVAC experience recommended

Advanced customer service skills: good communication both written and verbal.
