Job summary

Pearce Services is seeking Experienced HVAC Technicians in Phoenix, Arizona, to service and repair commercial HVAC systems on telecom shelters. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in HVAC maintenance, be EPA certified, and possess effective communication skills.

This role offers competitive pay of $30.00–$38.00 per hour, performance bonuses, flexible benefits, and comprehensive health insurance. Extensive travel within the region is required, and a company vehicle will be provided.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in HVAC maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of refrigeration systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cooling systems, diagnosing and repairing.

• Travel extensively to various work sites.

Skills

Your Impact

Pearce is seeking Experienced HVAC Technicians to join our team for servicing and repairing commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on Cell Tower sites. This is a fast‑paced and rewarding job best suited for individuals who are responsible, self‑directed, highly motivated, willing to travel, and looking to learn and grow in the Telecom industry. This is a regional position. Candidates should reside in the Phoenix, Arizona area.

Core Responsibilities

• Maintaining cooling systems – diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire systems.
• Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Performing additional maintenance or upgrades to out-of-season HVAC equipment.
• Responding to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call out services.
• Timely and accurate completion of daily work reports.
• Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.

Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs.

Core Experience

• Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required).
• 3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred).
• Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems is preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email.

Physical/Work Environment

At Pearce safety is our number one concern. Candidates must be able to comply with OSHAFCC/FAA/EPA Standards.

• Candidates should reside in the Phoenix, Arizona area.
• Must be available for after‑hours and weekend call outs on occasion.
• Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure.
• Occasional overnights required – company pays all travel costs and provides per diem.
• Driving to remote work sites as needed.
• Be exposed to ambient temperatures while working outdoors.
• Lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds).
• Will be required to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.

Compensation

$30.00–$38.00 hourly/DOE. In addition to wages, employees may also be eligible for performance and referral bonuses, production incentives, tool/equipment and fuel stipends, company vehicle, per diem or other applicable compensation.
