Job Description

First Call Heating & Cooling, a leading HVAC company in the Portland Metro/Vancouver area since 1939, is immediately hiring an experienced and team-oriented HVAC Service Technician.

Position: HVAC Service Technician
Location: Oregon City, OR 97045
Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM - OT (nights and weekends) may be required
Compensation: $20 - $40/hr (DOE)

HVAC Service Technician Position Summary:
The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for going to multiple sites and maintaining and repairing residential HVAC systems. You will work as part of a dynamic and passionate HVAC team to demonstrate technical competency and exceed customer expectations by accomplishing the highest quality service, every time.

Job Requirements

HVAC Service Technician Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

• 2+ years of HVAC experience and/or trade school experience preferred.
• EPA certification is preferred but not required.
• NATE Certified or obtain within 1 year of hire preferred
• Must have a valid Driver's License with a clean, insurable driving record.
• Must pass drug and background screens.
• Willingness to invest time in training seminars and classes.
• Willingness to invest in HVAC equipment tools
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical components of HVAC equipment with demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills and intermediate computer proficiency.
