About this role:

An HVAC Service Technician is responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. This includes diagnosing issues, performing routine and emergency repairs, and ensuring systems operate efficiently and safely. Technicians will interact with customers to explain problems and solutions, adhere to safety standards, and maintain a clean work environment. The role also involves system inspections, adjustments, upgrades, and detailed record-keeping. Strong technical skills, excellent customer service, and adherence to industry standards are essential for success.

Responsibilities include:

• Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing HVAC systems, including air handling units, ductwork, vents, and drainage systems.
• Diagnosing and servicing HVAC systems in residential settings for optimal performance.
• Providing expert solutions and professional recommendations to customers.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of HVAC experience, preferably in residential markets.
• EPA Certification.
• Valid Driver’s License with at least three years of driving experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
• Positive attitude and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Professional interaction with all organizational levels.
• Flexible team player, adaptable to dynamic environments.

Physical requirements:

• Lifting 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Climbing ladders, accessing attics, navigating tight spaces, and driving.
• Working in various environments, including indoors, outdoors, attics, and crawlspaces.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, talk, hear, and use hands for handling objects and controls.
• Regularly stooping, kneeling, bending, and crouching.
• Exposure to extreme temperatures and weather conditions.
