Job summary

D&L LLC is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician for our Columbus, MS operation. The role requires EPA certification, a valid driver’s license, and 3+ years of HVAC service in commercial/industrial settings.

You will service, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a range of HVAC equipment, coordinate with customers, and complete all field documentation. Excellent benefits and year-round steady work are provided.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HVAC service experience in commercial or industrial environments.
• EPA Universal License is required and must be current.
• Valid driver’s license required to operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues and determine repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Work on RTUs, air handlers, package units, split systems, pumps, chillers, boilers, and related HVAC equipment.
• Communicate with customers and provide professional service.
• Complete service documentation and paperwork.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
• Work independently while supporting the D&L service team.

Job description

HVAC Technician | Columbus, MS | Mon-Fri Schedule | Up to $40/hr DOE

We are looking for experienced HVAC Service Technicians with 3+ years of experience to support our day-to-day needs for an industrial facility (must be EPA certified and have a valid driver's license). We guarantee 40 hours a week with no seasonal layoffs and this position also comes with a company truck, company paid healthcare plan and immediate paid vacation and holidays!

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC equipment
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues and determine the best repair solution
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
• Work on equipment such as RTUs, air handlers, package units, split systems, pumps, chillers, boilers, and related HVAC systems
• Communicate with customers and provide professional, service-focused support
• Complete service documentation, work orders, and required paperwork
• Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean, professional work environment

• Work independently while also supporting the D&L service team when needed

• 3+ years of HVAC service experience in commercial or industrial environments.
• Strong troubleshooting experience across mechanical, electrical, and control systems in HVAC equipment.
• Hands-on experience servicing RTUs, mini splits, and package units.
• Experience following HVAC service safety standards.
• Ability to work responsively with plant maintenance teams on service calls.
• EPA Universal License
• Valid Driver's License
