Position Overview

Our Residential HVAC Service Technicians will ensure the proper operation and performance of customers’ heating/air conditioning systems in a residential environment. Responsibilities include identifying, repairing, or replacing necessary components, providing guidance on proper equipment use, and maintaining adequate materials to perform services efficiently.

This role offers a $5,000 signing bonus, payable after 60 days from start date. The hourly pay rate ranges from $32.56 - $42/hr.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with dispatch and management to ensure timely and accurate work order completion.
• Diagnose malfunctions in HVAC units and components to determine repair or replacement needs.
• Perform repairs on HVAC systems and related equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Manage repair costs and minimize inefficiencies.
• Achieve first-time fix rates, productivity, and customer service goals.
• Maintain tools, supplies, and equipment for safe and effective operation.
• Manage inventory to ensure availability of parts and equipment.
• Conduct repairs on various HVAC systems for maintenance and renovation purposes.
• Respond to emergencies to resolve safety concerns.
• Transport tools, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• Work independently and communicate effectively with customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: Strong HVAC experience in residential areas.
• Preferred: Universal EPA Certification with 1-3 years’ experience.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics.
• Experience with residential and light commercial HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Familiarity with electronic equipment and data entry.

Physical Requirements

Must meet physical demands such as hearing, talking, handling objects, standing, walking, sitting, reaching, and lifting up to 15 pounds. Vision and noise level requirements are specified for safety and operational efficiency.
