Varsity HVAC Franklin, TN Earn $30-$40 an hour
Do you enjoy tracking down an equipment problem and helping a customer understand the solution? Varsity HVAC is looking for a Heating and Cooling Service Specialist with a solid service background and a practical approach to repairs. Bring at least three years of HVAC service experience and the ability to handle each appointment with care, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Our Franklin-based operation covers communities between Nashville and Columbia, with coverage extending from Dickson across to Murfreesboro. A company vehicle that you can take home, along with a gas card, supports travel between service locations.
Each call starts with listening to the customer and evaluating the equipment. You will test components, trace operating problems, and determine the work needed to restore heating or cooling. Clearly explain your recommendations so customers understand the issue and the proposed next steps.
Alongside repair calls, you will carry out scheduled maintenance, check performance, and recognize conditions that may need additional attention. Use technical diagrams and testing equipment to guide your decisions, then verify system operation after completing the work.
Accurate records are part of a successful visit. Record your observations, repairs, and parts usage, and share updates with office staff when another visit or additional materials are needed. Maintain orderly tools and vehicle supplies, protect the surrounding workspace, and follow appropriate safety practices.
Additional installation knowledge is welcome. Prior use of ServiceTitan, completion of an HVAC trade program, and EPA Universal certification are advantages rather than required qualifications.
