Qualifications

• EPA Universal certification required.
• 2+ years of experience with residential HVAC repairs, diagnostics, and service.
• Proven heating and air conditioning installation and maintenance experience.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Fluent English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Strong organizational skills and time management abilities.
• Mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect customers' systems and diagnose causes of problems.
• Explain equipment needs and present service options to homeowners.
• Perform repairs, replacements, safety inspections, system checks and preventive maintenance.
• Accurately document all service calls, parts used, and outcomes.
• Read and follow schematics/blueprints and maintain high workmanship.
• Grow within the skilled trade and contribute to customer satisfaction.

Mighty Air, Inc. is searching for a full-time HVAC Service Technician in Jacksonville, FL. If you've got the talent, we've got the opportunity!

Pay: $52,000 - $70,000/year base salary (depending on experience), plus sales incentives

Full-Time Benefits: Paid vacation, holiday pay, and paid sick time

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, with overtime available

WHAT THE JOB LOOKS LIKE:

Our HVAC Service Technician provides dependable service to local homeowners, completing first-rate work on residential heating and air conditioning equipment. You'll inspect customers' systems, diagnose the cause of any problems, clearly explain equipment needs, and present various service options. You'll also recommend additional services the homeowner could benefit from (upgrades, improvements, indoor air quality products, etc.) and help them make informed decisions about their systems.

Once you've gained the customer's approval, you'll get to work performing repairs, replacements, safety inspections, system checks, preventative maintenance, and more. You'll accurately document all service calls, work performed, parts used, and job outcomes. This role is meant for a hard-working, hands-on person motivated to do an excellent job and keep growing within the skilled trade!
