One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning is building its Greater Hartford operation and looking for hands‑on HVAC professionals who enjoy diagnosing problems, repairing equipment, and helping customers.
Your experience might come from residential service, light-commercial HVAC, facilities maintenance, or a combination of installation and service work. If you've worked directly on heating and cooling equipment, we'd like to learn what you can do. Your previous job title doesn't need to match ours.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair residential heating and air conditioning systems. Work with equipment such as furnaces, central air systems, heat pumps, air handlers, thermostats, and controls.
Use electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to identify problems, complete repairs, and verify that equipment operates correctly. Perform preventive maintenance and help homeowners understand their systems and repair options.
Document your work, communicate clearly with customers and teammates, and keep your vehicle and work areas organized. Our focus is on accurate diagnosis, quality repairs, and honest recommendations, without a high‑pressure sales culture.
Hands‑on HVAC service, troubleshooting, maintenance, or repair experience. Relevant backgrounds include HVAC service technicians, heating and cooling mechanics, facilities HVAC technicians, and installers who also diagnose and repair equipment.
Residential experience is especially useful, but related light‑commercial and facilities HVAC experience can translate well. We're interested in your practical skills, not whether your resume uses a particular title or lists every equipment brand.
You don't need management or crew‑lead experience. We're looking for a capable technician first, with opportunities to take on more responsibility as the team grows.
Annual compensation of $80,000–$100,000, with performance incentives and overtime opportunities. The role includes a company vehicle and fuel card, uniforms, tools, and technology to support your work.
Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) with employer match, paid holidays, and PTO. Paid training, continuing education, and certification development support your growth.
Join a locally owned, veteran‑owned business backed by the national One Hour brand. You'll have direct access to ownership and a chance to help shape the service team's standards and customer experience.
As the business grows, potential career paths include Senior Technician, Field Supervisor, Service Manager, and operations leadership. Leadership is an opportunity, not a prerequisite for joining.
One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Military service is not required.
