Job summary

Magic Electric, Plumbing, Heating and Air in Garden City, Idaho is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems for homes and businesses. You will perform tune-ups, safety checks, and identify needed repairs while communicating clearly with customers.

This field-based role involves traveling to client sites, lifting up to 75 lbs, and following OSHA, EPA, and company safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HVAC service, maintenance, or repair experience.
• EPA Section 608 certification is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and commercial HVAC systems including furnaces, ACs, heat pumps, and ventilation.
• Perform tune-ups, cleaning, and preventive maintenance.
• Test and inspect equipment for proper function and safety compliance.
• Identify repairs and provide accurate recommendations and estimates to customers.
• Complete installations of replacement parts and equipment as needed.
• Communicate clearly with customers about diagnoses, options, and pricing.
