Job summary

Lane Valente Industries is seeking an HVAC Manager/Service Tech to service equipment on client projects and ensure satisfaction. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems on-site, using hand-tools and interpreting blueprints or specs.

You will also quote jobs, manage site activities, document work, and interact directly with customers to deliver reliable service and results.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing HVAC equipment on projects.
• Ability to read blueprints or engineering specifications.

Responsibilities

• Servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Diagnose and repair units using hand-tools per blueprints or specs.
• Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems at customer locations.
• Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications per client requests.
• Prepare for on-site installation by reviewing layout and coordinating work.
• Maintain equipment and inspect for wear; notify management of findings.
• Document work and maintain job files; ensure timely reporting.

HVAC Manager/Service Tech

Job Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Uses a variety of hand-tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units
• Identifies, analyzes, diagnoses, and repairs systems and products at customer’s location
• Performs preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers
• Prepares for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials and coordinating on-site work, as necessary
• Inspects vehicles by checking vehicle condition and cleanliness
• Able to quote jobs
• Maintains equipment by inspecting for signs of wear, notifies customer and/or Operations Manager of findings
• Documents work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files
• Represents company by serving as a direct customer contact
• Determines parts to order for repairs and timeliness of need
• Records parts, material, labor, subs and other cost data per assignment and returns unused resources
• Turns in all required paperwork and reports in a timely manner
• Keeps current on all products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service and repair
• Read and interpret product specifications
• Provides technical support to customers
• Review product sales metrics and work with on developing appropriate product selling plans and programs
• Effectively perform needs assessments, develops sales proposals, estimates, specifications and presentations
