Job summary

Lane Valente Industries is seeking an HVAC Manager / Service Tech to service products and equipment on client sites across national accounts. The role emphasizes diagnostic work, preventative maintenance, and customer-focused service to ensure satisfaction, with opportunities to quote jobs and manage on-site installations.

The position requires hands-on skills with hand-tools, adherence to blueprints or specs, and strong coordination with customers and the operations team to deliver reliable

Responsibilities

• Servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Use hand-tools, following blueprints or engineering specs, to diagnose and repair units
• Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems at the customer site
• Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed
• Prepare for on-site installation by examining layout, coordinating on-site work
• Inspect vehicles for condition and cleanliness
• Able to quote jobs
• Maintain equipment by inspecting wear and notifying of findings
• Document work with paperwork and file maintenance
• Represent company as direct customer contact
• Determine parts to order for repairs and timing
• Record parts, materials, labor, subs, and costs; return unused resources
• Turn in all required paperwork and reports promptly
• Keep current on all products regarding installation, operation, maintenance, service
• Read and interpret product specifications
• Provide technical support to customers
• Review product sales metrics and develop product selling plans
• Conduct needs assessments, develop sales proposals, estimates, specifications, and presentations

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

• Responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Uses a variety of hand-tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units
• Identifies, analyzes, diagnoses, and repairs systems and products at customer’s location
• Performs preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers
• Prepares for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials and coordinating on-site work, as necessary
• Inspects vehicles by checking vehicle condition and cleanliness
• Able to quote jobs
• Maintains equipment by inspecting for signs of wear and notifying customer or Operations Manager of findings
• Documents work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files
• Represents company by serving as a direct customer contact
• Determines parts to order for repairs and timeliness of need
• Records parts, material, labor, subs, and other cost data per assignment and returns unused resources
• Turns in all required paperwork and reports in a timely manner
• Keeps current on all products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service and repair
• Reads and interprets product specifications
• Provides technical support to customers
• Reviews product sales metrics and works on developing appropriate product selling plans and programs
