SunnyMac Solar is expanding in New Jersey and seeks an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician to join our high-performing team. You will diagnose, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems, delivering 5-star service on every call.

Responsibilities include on-site visits, performing diagnostics, documenting work, and communicating clearly with customers and teammates. EPA certification is preferred, and a valid driver's license is required.

Position Summary

• SunnyMac is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Residential HVAC

Service Technician to join our high-performing team. This role is perfect for a technician who takes pride in delivering 5-star service while diagnosing,

maintaining, and repairing residential HVAC systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

• -Perform maintenance, repairs, and system diagnostics in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and local codes.


• -Complete routine inspections and preventative maintenance to maximize system efficiency.


• -Troubleshoot equipment using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and related instruments.


• -Conduct on-site service visits, addressing performance issues and resolving customer concerns.


• -Accurately document service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities.


• -Provide professional, friendly, and clear communication to customers and team members.

What You Bring

• Proven experience in HVAC service and maintenance.

Requirements and Qualification

• Strong troubleshooting abilities with complex equipment issues.


• Knowledge of HVAC-related safety regulations and building codes.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Excellent communication and customer service skills.


• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.


• EPA Certification (Preferred).


• 5+ years of HVAC experience (Preferred).

Compensation and Benefits

• Up to $45 per hour


• $5,000 sign-on bonus


• 5% truck commission


• 2.5% on installs
