Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on residential HVAC service experience.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair residential heating and air conditioning systems.

What You'll Do

Diagnose, Repair & Deliver Quality Service

Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair residential heating and air conditioning systems.

Perform HVAC service calls, preventative maintenance, and system repairs.

Identify mechanical, electrical, airflow, and system performance issues.

Troubleshoot furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and other residential HVAC equipment.

Perform system enhancements and recommend improvements to comfort, efficiency, and reliability.

Maintain high standards for workmanship, safety, and professionalism.

Complete accurate service documentation and maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles.

Educate Homeowners & Present Solutions

We're looking for technicians who do more than fix equipment. We want professionals who can confidently explain what's happening, educate homeowners, and help them make informed decisions.

Clearly explain system findings and recommended repairs to homeowners.

Present appropriate repair, maintenance, and replacement options based on customer needs.

Identify opportunities for indoor air quality improvements, system upgrades, and preventative maintenance.

Communicate pricing, service options, and the value of recommended solutions.

Build trust through honest recommendations and a customer-first approach.

Confidently ask for the opportunity to complete recommended work.

Follow through on customer concerns and ensure a positive service experience.

Take Ownership of Your Performance

Manage service calls efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship.

Maintain strong customer satisfaction and service performance standards.

Identify legitimate service opportunities and communicate recommendations clearly.

Work closely with Dispatchers, Service Managers, and Install teams.

Maintain accurate customer records, service notes, and recommendations in company systems.

Participate in ongoing technical and customer-service training.

Support warranty and emergency service calls as needed.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for experienced residential HVAC Service Technicians who are technically strong, customer-focused, and motivated to succeed.

Required Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on residential HVAC service experience.

Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with residential heating and cooling systems.

Experience performing HVAC maintenance, repairs, and service calls independently.

Ability to confidently communicate repair and replacement recommendations to homeowners.

Strong customer-service and communication skills.

Ability to explain technical issues in a way homeowners can understand.

EPA certification.

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Basic HVAC hand tools.

Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently.

Willingness to participate in rotating on-call and weekend schedules.

Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment background and drug screening, consistent with applicable law.

Preferred Qualifications

NATE certification.

Heat pump and inverter-system experience.

Experience with indoor air quality products and system enhancements.

Strong history of customer satisfaction and service performance.

Experience presenting repair versus replacement options.

Experience working in a performance-driven residential service environment.
