We're looking for a certified and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join the Power Pro Plumbing Heating & Air team. The HVAC Service Technician is mainly responsible for servicing air conditioning, heating, and ventilation systems in multi- and single-family homes, with all work following proper code and Power Pro's high-quality standards. Day to day you'll investigate problems and perform repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment in heating, cooling, and ventilation systems; arrive at job sites at the scheduled time as dispatched; operate a company vehicle; maintain a professional appearance and attitude; participate in employee meetings and training; and report to the HVAC Supervisor on time every day, ready to work.

Under direct supervision you'll also perform metal and wood hole cutting, duct installation and connection, and installation of flex and duct to code and quality standards - developing into furnace hookups, refrigerant lines, gas fittings and gas tags, and gas tree construction.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• 2-3+ years of experience in HVAC service and repair
• Current HVAC EPA certification required
• Valid driver's license and clean MVR
• Willingness to purchase and invest in the tools required for the HVAC Technician role
• Motivated to invest time in training to advance job positions, with a commitment to developing customer service and communication skills
• Good analytical skills, mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail, with the ability to read and interpret manuals and follow verbal and written directions
• Able to follow all safety guidelines, operate hand and power tools safely, work at heights and in tight conditions from extension and step ladders, use safe lifting procedures, and use a full range of body motion (climbing, stooping, kneeling, balancing, reaching, lifting, bending, twisting)
• Must be drug-free and able to pass new-hire and random drug screenings and a background check
