What You’ll Do

As a Residential HVAC Service Technician, you will identify, diagnose, troubleshoot, analyze, and repair issues with customers’ HVAC systems. You will ensure systems operate efficiently to meet customer satisfaction, safety, and comfort standards.

Essential Job Duties

• Perform mechanical and electrical inspections and maintenance to optimize equipment performance
• Perform preventive maintenance such as oiling, belt adjustments, cleaning, and greasing
• Determine service requirements using technical skills and experience
• Represent the company to other contractors, owners, and tradespeople
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and suggest corrective actions
• Recommend additional services beneficial to customers
• Complete and submit paperwork promptly
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Minimum Job Requirements

• Minimum of five years’ residential HVAC experience
• EPA certification
• Ability to pass drug and background checks
• Willingness to work overtime
• Strong mechanical skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
• Ability to lift heavy items safely
• Ability to work in heat and cold for extended periods
• Ability to climb, stoop, balance, crouch, crawl, or kneel continually
