Job summary

Mr. Central is seeking an HVAC Service Technician who takes pride in solving problems and delivering top-notch service. You will work in a transparent, collaborative environment with a hands-on management team that supports your growth and provides regular training.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems, performing emergency repairs, and ensuring safety and compliance. A valid EPA 608 certification and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification required.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License with a clean record.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Clean, adjust, and repair HVAC systems, including air handling units, ductwork, vents, and condensation drainage.
• Troubleshoot HVAC systems and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with appliance standards and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
• Track HVAC repairs and work completed in trade software (ServiceTitan).
• Engage with customers to inform them of issues, solutions, and outcomes, and recommend products/services for optimal system performance.
