John's Plumbing in Town of Florida, NY is seeking a self-motivated HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. You will clean, adjust, and repair HVAC systems, troubleshoot problems, and perform emergency repairs with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications include a minimum of 2 years of HVAC experience, EPA 608 Universal Certification, a valid U.S. driver's license, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Clean, adjust, and repair HVAC systems, including air handling units, ductwork, vents, and condensation drainage
• Troubleshoot HVAC systems and equipment to diagnose issues
• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with appliance standards and Occupational Health and Safety regulations
• Track HVAC repairs and work completed in trade software (ServiceTitan)
• Engage with customers to inform them of issues, solutions, and outcomes, and recommend products/services for optimal system performance
