Job summary

Tyler Air is seeking an energetic HVAC Service Technician for our Stratford, CT location. The ideal candidate holds a Connecticut S-1 or S-2 license with strong diagnostic and repair skills across a wide range of HVAC equipment, primarily residential with some commercial work.

The role requires professionalism, independence, and a commitment to quality workmanship. We offer competitive hourly pay based on experience, commission opportunities on sold jobs and service flips, a take-home company

Qualifications

• Connecticut S-1 or S-2 journeyman license required.
• 2+ years HVAC experience.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• OSHA 10-hour Construction Course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems.
• Service and work on all HVAC equipment types including central air, furnaces, heat pumps, boilers, rooftops, ductless systems and related components.
• Perform preventative maintenance and service calls.
• Complete approximately 4–6 service calls per day depending on volume and complexity.
• Communicate professionally with customers and educate on HVAC concerns.
• Identify repairs or system improvements and upsell where appropriate.
• Submit daily service reports and maintain customer relationships in the field.
• Maintain high-quality workmanship and safety standards per company policy.
