Job summary

American Residential Services (ARS) is seeking experienced HVAC Service Technicians to diagnose, repair, and service residential heating and cooling systems. You will also evaluate IAQ solutions and deliver excellent customer service on every call.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential HVAC experience.
• EPA certification (or ability to obtain).
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, and lift heavy HVAC equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems (furnaces, heat pumps, A/C).
• Evaluate and recommend Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) solutions (filtration, purification, humidity control).
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine service for optimal performance.
• Identify issues and recommend repairs or replacements.
• Explain conditions and options to homeowners clearly.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

As a Residential HVAC Service Technician, you'll be responsible for delivering expert service and repairs while providing homeowners with an outstanding customer experience.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, heat pumps, and air conditioners.
• Evaluate and recommend Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) solutions, including air filtration, purification, humidity control, and other products that improve indoor comfort and air quality.
• Indoor Air Quality awarness (IAQ)
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine service to ensure optimal system performance.
• Identify equipment issues and recommend effective repair or replacement solutions.
• Complete all work in compliance with company standards, manufacturer specifications, and local codes.
• Clearly explain system conditions, repair options, and recommendations to homeowners.
• Deliver professional, high-quality customer service on every service call.
