Job summary

American Residential Services (ARS) is seeking experienced HVAC Service Technicians to diagnose, repair, maintain, and service residential heating and air conditioning systems. The role offers full-time, year-round work with competitive pay and a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing furnaces, heat pumps, and AC units; evaluating IAQ solutions; performing preventative maintenance; and delivering professional customer service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential HVAC experience
• EPA certification (or ability to obtain)
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Must pass background check and drug screening
• Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, and lift heavy HVAC equipment

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, heat pumps, and air conditioners.
• Evaluate and recommend Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) solutions, including air filtration and humidity control.
• Indoor Air Quality awareness (IAQ).
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine service to ensure optimal system performance.
• Identify equipment issues and recommend repair or replacement solutions.
• Complete all work in compliance with company standards, manufacturer specifications, and local codes.
• Explain system conditions, repair options, and recommendations to homeowners.
• Deliver professional, high-quality customer service on every service call.
