1-800-Plumber + Air is seeking an energetic HVAC Service Tech / Installer to install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems. You will interpret schematics, perform repairs, and ensure customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 2–3 years of HVAC experience, valid driver's license, and a commitment to craftsmanship and professional growth. This is an in-person position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction or service technician roles within HVAC or refrigeration.
• Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, and mechanical systems troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units and ammonia refrigeration.
• Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and performing equipment repair or maintenance tasks.
• Mechanical knowledge of plumbing, boiler systems, welding techniques, and property maintenance is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and related components per schematics and design plans.
• Conduct system repairs and maintenance on existing HVAC equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
• Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents for accurate installations.
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting and welding equipment for system fabrication or repair when necessary.
• Assist with plumbing connections related to HVAC systems and ammonia refrigeration setups when required.
• Perform field service tasks including troubleshooting equipment issues, repairing appliances, and conducting property maintenance.
• Ensure all installations comply with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards.
