Job summary

Atchley Air Cooling, Heating, Plumbing & Electrical is seeking a motivated HVAC Technician in Fort Smith, AR to diagnose, repair and maintain HVAC systems and to identify opportunities for service upgrades and new installations.

You will combine HVAC expertise with sales techniques to guide customers toward energy-efficient solutions, close deals, and build lasting relationships. The role emphasizes delivering value and exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• EPA certification or equivalent.
• 1+ years of HVAC Service experience.
• 1+ years of proven success in selling direct to homeowners via in-home presentation.
• Strong sales, customer service, and closing skills.
• Exceptional communication/interpersonal skills.
• Assertive and confident personality.
• Ability to work outside and in extreme temperatures.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems.
• Engage customers in meaningful conversations about improvements, upgrades, or repairs.
• Identify and present HVAC product and service recommendations; close sales for upgrades or installations.
• Establish rapport with customers and provide tailored solutions.
• Generate new business opportunities through referrals and follow-ups.
• Collaborate with dispatch and sales teams for scheduling and follow-up.
• Meet and exceed personal sales goals while maintaining high technical service standards.
