Job summary

Comfort Systems USA, Inc. is seeking an HVAC Service Technician II in Fort Worth to independently perform preventive maintenance, service calls, and complex repairs on light-commercial HVAC systems. You will apply advanced system knowledge and deliver solutions with a customer-service focus.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, on-site service, and collaboration with customers to support maintenance and equipment replacement needs. A strong safety and quality mindset is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years HVAC service experience.
• Advanced knowledge of refrigeration cycle, airflow dynamics, and system efficiency.
• 2–3 years with residential and light-commercial HVAC systems.
• 2–3 years with control boards, relays, transformers, and sensors.
• 2–3 years of independent troubleshooting including complex electrical/mechanical issues.

Responsibilities

• Service larger rooftop units and split systems (10–20 tons).
• Perform complex troubleshooting and repairs with minimal supervision.
• Independently manage assigned service calls.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and system-performance optimization.
• Work directly with customers to support maintenance, repair, and replacement needs.
