Job summary

Aire Serv of Kalispell is seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Technician to run residential and light commercial service calls. You will be dispatched from home in a fully equipped company vehicle and manage 4–6 calls daily, diagnosing systems and offering transparent options to homeowners.

We value leadership potential with pathways to Lead Tech or Service Manager as Aire Serv expands the Kalispell region. EPA certification, a clean driving record, and 3+ years of independent service experience

Qualifications

• EPA Certification required and valid driver’s license with clean record.
• 3+ years running residential service calls independently.
• Experience in diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems in residential and light commercial settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on residential and light commercial systems.
• Run 4–6 service calls daily with high efficiency and quality workmanship.
• Utilize ServiceTitan on the iPad to present options and IAQ solutions to homeowners.
• Pass replacement sales opportunities to Home Comfort Designers for a 4% commission on gross sales.
• Participate in a 1-in-4 week on-call rotation.
• Flex into growth markets (e.g., Missoula) as needed.

About the Role

We are hiring an experienced, independent HVAC Service Technician (3+ years experience) to run residential and light commercial service calls across the area. Dispatched straight from home in a fully equipped company vehicle, you will handle 4 to 6 calls a day, diagnose systems, and present transparent options to homeowners. High performers have a clear track to step into leadership roles—such as Lead Tech, Service Manager, or Sales Manager—within a year or less as we expand into surrounding markets like Missoula.

Core Responsibilities

• Independently perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on residential and light commercial systems.
• Run 4–6 service calls daily with high efficiency and top-tier workmanship.
• Use ServiceTitan on your iPad to present transparent options and IAQ solutions directly to homeowners.

• Hand off replacement sales opportunities to Home Comfort Designers for a 4% commission on gross system sales.

• Participate in a 1-in-4 week on-call rotation (Tuesday to Tuesday).

• Flex into secondary growth markets (such as Missoula) a couple of days a week as needed.

Requirements & Experience

• Experience: 3+ years (3–5 years preferred) running residential service calls independently.
• Certifications:EPA Certification required. Valid driver’s license with a clean record (MVR check required).

Location

• Location:Currently living within 1 hour drive of Kalispell, MT.

Technical Skill

Experience with heat pumps, mini-splits, and standard residential systems.

Preferred

• Preferred:Prior ServiceTitan/CRM experience, formal sales training (Nexstar), boiler experience, or NATE/Journeyman certifications.
