American Residential Services (ARS) is seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician in Houston to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential heating and cooling systems. You will perform repairs, maintenance, and system diagnostics for homeowners, ensuring comfort and reliability.

This full-time role offers strong earning potential with performance-based pay, a take-home service vehicle, and benefits starting after 31 days.

Qualifications

• 3 years of residential HVAC experience.
• EPA certification (or ability to obtain).
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, and lift heavy HVAC equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose residential HVAC systems (furnaces, heat pumps, AC units).
• Perform HVAC repairs, service calls, and preventative maintenance.
• Identify system issues and recommend solutions.
• Ensure work meets company standards and local codes.
• Communicate with homeowners about performance and repairs.
• Provide professional customer service while completing service work.
