Job summary

American Residential Services (ARS) is seeking an experienced HVAC Field Service Supervisor to lead and support our service technicians in the field. This role oversees daily operations, ensures high-quality workmanship, drives team performance, and delivers an exceptional customer experience.

You will coach, schedule, and develop technicians, supervise field operations, assist with diagnostics, monitor productivity and safety, and coordinate with dispatch to optimize workloads.

Qualifications

• 5+ years HVAC field leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of residential HVAC service, maintenance and repair.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage day-to-day operations.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical skills.
• Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop service technicians, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Supervise daily field operations, ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and to company standards.
• Assist technicians with diagnostics, troubleshooting, and technical support in the field and remotely.
• Monitor and improve team productivity, quality of work, and customer satisfaction.
• Resolve customer concerns and ensure a positive service experience.
• Review and audit work orders, service reports, and payroll for accuracy.
• Conduct job site visits, vehicle inspections, and equipment audits.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, materials, and company assets.
• Coordinate with dispatch to optimize scheduling and job assignments.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards, company policies, and local codes.
