Job summary

ARS-Rescue Rooter is seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and service home heating and cooling systems while delivering outstanding customer service.

Pay ranges from $30 to $45 per hour with a sign-on bonus up to $4,000 depending on experience and interview. This full-time, year-round role includes benefits and opportunities for career growth within ARS.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential HVAC experience.
• EPA certification (or ability to obtain).
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, and lift heavy HVAC equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, heat pumps, and air conditioners.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine service to ensure optimal system performance.
• Identify equipment issues and recommend effective repair or replacement solutions.
• Complete all work in compliance with company standards, manufacturer specifications, and local codes.
• Clearly explain system conditions, repair options, and recommendations to homeowners.
