Job summary

Fox Heating & Cooling in Boise, Idaho is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician for full-time work diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing residential and light-commercial systems. The role emphasizes honest communication, quality workmanship, and customer service.

Earn $25-$35 per hour DOE, with time-and-a-half overtime, a $1,000 sign-on bonus after 60 days, and 100% company-paid employee health insurance including dental and vision.

Qualifications

• At least one year of residential HVAC service experience.
• Active Idaho Journeyman or Apprentice registration with 2000 hours.
• EPA Section 608 certification.
• Strong diagnostic and customer communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair residential and light-commercial HVAC systems.
• Explain findings and options clearly to customers.
• Complete repairs per manufacturer specs and codes.
• Maintain service records and communicate with the office.
• Keep company vehicle and tools organized and professional.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair residential and light-commercial HVAC systems
• Explain findings and repair options clearly and honestly to customers
• Complete repairs according to manufacturer specifications, applicable codes, and Fox quality standards
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with the office
• Keep your company vehicle, tools, and work areas clean and organized
• Represent Fox professionally and help us improve how we serve customers

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• At least one year of residential HVAC service experience
• An active Idaho HVAC Journeyman registration or Apprentice registration with at least 2,000 documented hours
• EPA Section 608 certification
• Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and customer communication skills
• A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• A professional, dependable, team-first attitude
• A commitment to quality workmanship and doing the right thing
• Ability to meet screening requirements
