Job summary

Family Comfort Air in Tampa, FL is hiring a reliable HVAC Service/Sales Tech and Installer with a minimum of 2 years of experience and a clean driving record to join our team. This full-time role includes a service van, uniforms, and a phone/iPad.

You will diagnose and repair residential split and mini split systems, provide outstanding customer service, and contribute to sales while maintaining safety and high workmanship standards. Compensation is hourly with bonuses and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• EPA certification to handle refrigerants (required)
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (no DUIs)
• Pass drug test and background check
• Reliable, honest, polite and courteous
• Patient, cool and calm under pressure
• Coach-able and eager to learn and improve
• Valid D/L and EPA Type II or Universal
• Strong communication and tech comfort

Responsibilities

• Travel to homes as scheduled, on time
• Provide excellent customer service in all duties
• Diagnose, sell, repair, and maintain HVAC systems and ducts
• Perform emergency repairs promptly
• Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting
• Handle physical workload
• Follow service standards and customer requirements
• Identify customer concerns with their current HVAC system
• Maintain inventory of equipment and HVAC resources
• Keep van and appearance professional and clean
