Job summary

Piedmont Service Group in Virginia seeks a Service Manager to lead a team of field service technicians and coordinators focused on HVAC maintenance and repairs. You will drive safety culture, manage budgets, and ensure exceptional customer service while growing the business.

Responsibilities include start-up meetings for new contracts, pricing input, and providing SPOT quotes above $1,500. The role requires HVAC knowledge, leadership, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Supervise local and remote field service technicians to optimize assignments.
• Broad knowledge of commercial and industrial HVAC and BAS applications.
• Strong organization and follow-up to provide timely feedback to customers.
• Analytical skills on performance metrics, contract financials, and other processes.
• Virginia HVAC license or willingness to obtain.
• EPA 608 Certification.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and MobileTech service management tools.
• Experience with Key2Act/WennSoft/Great Plains is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote a strong safety culture and regular safety meetings.
• Manage the service budget and related financial objectives.
• Review maintenance sales proposals prior to quoting.
• Enter cost estimates, equipment, and tasking for each contract.
• Provide exceptional customer service by meeting commitments.
• Lead recruitment, development, and performance reviews for the service team.
• Support sales with pricing input and field solutions for proposals.
• Conduct start-up meetings for new contracts.
• Provide SPOT quotes above $1,500 when needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
