HVAC Service Mechanic

Are you EPA-Certified with at least three years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician? If you are, please review the job description below and apply if you meet the job requirements!

The HVAC Service Technician is tasked with the service, repair, and maintenance of commercial air conditioning systems, including air handlers, air-cooled and water-cooled chillers, cooling towers, pumps, packaged rooftops, fans, boilers, and integrated controls.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, service, and repair mechanical equipment as necessary.
• Conduct precise diagnostics of refrigeration and electronic circuits, with the capability to repair and replace components related to HVAC and other mechanical systems.
• Clearly and professionally inform customers of any issues found during maintenance or repairs.
• Communicate additional work or follow-up proposals to the office as needed.
• Adjust schedules and project timelines to align with company and customer needs.
• Adhere to company safety policies and regulations while performing all duties.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies.

Essential Functions:

• Operate a motor vehicle safely.
• Work with high accuracy within defined limits.
• Interpret flat drawings or images as three-dimensional objects.
• Adapt to a variety of frequently changing tasks.
• Evaluate information against measurable standards.
• Handle and manipulate objects effectively.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and frequently carry up to 50 pounds.
• Have good vision (with or without correction) and color discrimination.
• Climb ladders and scaffolds, maintaining balance.
• Stand, stoop, kneel, and crouch as required.
• Availability for overtime and on-call duties.
