Job summary

Dunn’s HVAC, Plumbing & Electrical, a Southern Home Services company, seeks an experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead service operations, optimize profitability, and deliver exceptional customer service across the region.

You will schedule work, manage budgets, oversee materials and staffing, mentor technicians, ensure safety, and grow the department through strong leadership and service excellence. This exempt role may require evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on HVAC service experience.
• Strong supervision and leadership capabilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license with travel to multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitability and customer satisfaction by growing revenue and delivering exceptional service.
• Schedule and evaluate service work to optimize manpower and profitability.
• Develop and oversee departmental budgets to meet financial goals.
• Oversee materials/equipment purchases and ensure availability for jobs.
• Schedule repairs and maintenance to minimize delays and keep operations efficient.
• Engage in marketing efforts to grow the department.
• Review performance reports to improve operations.
• Ensure safety protocols and proper tool usage across teams.
• Assist in dispatching to match technicians with requests.
• Address customer issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction.
• Mentor staff and identify training needs.
