Gpac, in partnership with a leading mechanical company, is seeking an HVAC Service Manager.

What you will be doing as an HVAC Service Manager:

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Quote projects/services to customers
• Hire technicians
• Evaluate and grow the customer base
• Manage regional expenses
• Negotiate pricing with vendors and equipment suppliers
• Inspect the condition of existing plumbing and HVAC equipment; perform repairs or modifications as needed
• Plan maintenance, repairs, or modifications to plumbing, HVAC, or refrigeration equipment; assign staff accordingly
• Analyze work orders to prioritize repairs and maintenance; evaluate systems to identify issues
• Determine necessary parts, materials, and supplies; order or obtain them
• Provide guidance in diagnosing and reporting mechanical system issues
• Coordinate work among plumbing, HVAC teams, other trades, departments, project managers, or outside contractors
• Monitor work progress and assist in completing complex jobs or training staff
• Ensure installations and repairs comply with all relevant codes
• Work with suppliers to obtain cost estimates for repairs, replacements, and installations; oversee work performance
• Collaborate with customers and staff to project future repair and equipment needs for budgeting
• Maintain records of preventive maintenance on major mechanical equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned
