Gpac, in partnership with a leading mechanical company, is seeking an HVAC Service Manager.

What you will be doing as an HVAC Service Manager:
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Quote projects/services to customers
- Hire technicians
- Evaluate and grow the customer base
- Manage regional expenses
- Negotiate pricing with vendors and equipment suppliers
- Inspect the condition of existing plumbing and HVAC equipment; perform repairs or modifications as needed
- Plan maintenance, repairs, or modifications to plumbing, HVAC, or refrigeration equipment; assign staff accordingly
- Analyze work orders to prioritize repairs and maintenance; evaluate systems to identify issues
- Determine necessary parts, materials, and supplies; order or obtain them
- Provide guidance in diagnosing and reporting mechanical system issues
- Coordinate work among plumbing, HVAC teams, other trades, departments, project managers, or outside contractors
- Monitor work progress and assist in completing complex jobs or training staff
- Ensure installations and repairs comply with all relevant codes
- Work with suppliers to obtain cost estimates for repairs, replacements, and installations; oversee work performance
- Collaborate with customers and staff to project future repair and equipment needs for budgeting
- Maintain records of preventive maintenance on major mechanical equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned
