TE Certified Electricians, Heating & Cooling is seeking a senior technician or manager to lead and improve a residential HVAC service department in the Lawrenceville area. The role involves running the service department, recruiting and coaching technicians, and handling escalated customer issues.

Ideal candidates live within 25 miles of Lawrenceville, GA, have strong residential HVAC service knowledge, and are willing to train others and work Saturdays as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of HVAC service and troubleshooting.
• Significant experience in RESIDENTIAL HVAC SERVICE. Management experience is not required but is strongly preferred.

This position requires someone with the knowledge and skill to successfully run and improve a service department.

Ideal candidates should:

• Have significant residential HVAC service experience, excellent troubleshooting and training abilities, and a good understanding of the residential HVAC service, sales, and install process.


• Be able to run a service department and handle management-level responsibilities, including recruiting, training, coaching, and instructing HVAC service technicians.


• Be comfortable fielding technical phone calls, as well as handling difficult situations and demanding customers.


• Be confident riding along and training new technicians.


• Be able and willing to teach technicians how to repair and service HVAC systems, as well as train on customer service and sales.


• Be comfortable and confident operating a first-class HVAC service department within an established business.

This position is well suited for a senior technician or manager with strong technical abilities and good management skills who lives in or near the Jonesboro area.

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of HVAC service and excellent troubleshooting skills.


• Significant experience in RESIDENTIAL HVAC SERVICE. Management experience is not required but is strongly preferred.


• Live within 25 miles of Lawrenceville, GA.


• Drug-free with a clean background and driving record.


• Be flexible, growth orientated and work well with others.


• Be excited and passionate about HVAC.


• Be willing to work Saturdays and off-hours as needed.


• Be willing to train and hire new team members.


• Be willing to multi-task and transition between field and office responsibilities.
