Job description

HVAC Service Corporation is currently hiring experienced Lead Commercial HVAC Installer for our commercial and industrial projects. A good solid foundation and work experience is necessary for the new construction projects and retrofits we’re working on in the Southeast region. We are based in Gastonia, NC.
Job Type: Full-time, Day Shift
Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour. Overtime pay.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Review blueprints along with building code specifications to determine work details and procedures
  • Assemble, fabricate, and install all types of ductwork, boilers, cooling towers, and piping
  • Be familiar with heat pumps, ventilation systems, gas furnaces, chillers, rooftop package units
  • Understanding of different connections and hanger layouts
  • All aspects including but not limited to the following: equipment, piping, wiring, labeling, and troubleshooting problems, etc.
  • Having your own hand tools (company will provide specialty tools)
  • Take ownership of work performed and have accountability for actions
  • Be able to lead a team and assign tasks to achieve daily goals
Qualifications:
  • Five (5) years minimum of experience in the trade.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Tools of trade and the ability to bring them onsite.
  • References required to verify your professional skills and experience.
  • Copies of Certifications required (for example your 608, EPA Universal)
Experience:
