Job summary

Aire Serv Glendale, AZ is seeking a part-time HVAC Service & Install Technician to handle residential service, maintenance, and select installs. You’ll work independently on service calls and team up with a senior tech for larger jobs.This role emphasizes world-class service, safety with refrigerants, and ongoing training. You’ll receive a company truck, fuel card, tablet, uniforms, and a boot allowance, with strong potential to grow into more hours or full-time as demand expands.

Qualifications

• EPA Universal (608) certification is required.
• NATE certification is preferred.
• Arizona experience is a major plus.
• Experience with A2L refrigerants and Refrigerant Detection Systems (RDS) is a strong plus.
• Residential service and maintenance on split systems, heat pumps, and packaged units.
• Proficient with diagnosing and repairing HVAC controls and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver world-class service during every visit.
• Run service and maintenance calls start-to-finish independently.
• Assist on demanding installs including heat pumps and RTUs.
• Read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical/control issues.
• Advise on upgrades and service plans to improve comfort.
• Support junior technician when needed.

If you're an HVAC Service or Install Technician who enjoys solving problems and seeing customers satisfied, we have an immediate part-time opening for an HVAC Service & Install Technician.We're a growing Aire Serv team looking for a versatile technician who feels highly comfortable flexing across all field roles—maintenance, service, and install. You will run residential service and maintenance calls independently and work shoulder-to-shoulder with our senior technician on calls that require two people. You'll be a key second set of expert hands — the person who makes hard install days go smoothly and keeps service moving when we're busy. This is a flexible role with real opportunity to grow into more hours, and full-time, as we expand.This is a customer-facing, primarily residential role. You'll meet customers in their homes, complete repairs, maintenance, and installs, and discuss recommended solutions.
