Apprentices gain hands-on experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems while working with seasoned technicians. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, basic mechanical/electrical understanding, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical concepts.
• Ability to lift and work in physically demanding environments.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to learn and adhere to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced HVAC technicians in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Learn to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues within HVAC units under supervision.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning components, replacing filters, and checking system performance.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others.
• Document work performed and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding job progress and challenges.
