Job summary

Boston Standard in Weymouth, MA is seeking an HVAC Service Apprentice to learn from experienced techs, gain hands-on experience, and work toward becoming a full HVAC Service Technician.

You'll ride along with seasoned technicians, diagnose, maintain, and repair systems such as AC, furnaces, heat pumps, boilers, and mini-splits, while building people skills and a career in a trade that's always in demand.

Qualifications

• HVAC school or vocational training preferred.
• EPA 608 is a big plus.
• Some hands-on HVAC experience is great, but we’re willing to teach.
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable using tools.
• Reliable, motivated, and ready to learn.
• Good with people and comfortable talking with customers.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Ride along with experienced HVAC Service Technicians
• Help diagnose, maintain, and repair HVAC systems
• Get hands-on experience with AC, furnaces, heat pumps, boilers, and mini-splits
• Learn how to troubleshoot problems instead of just replacing parts
• Work directly with customers in their homes
• Build your skills and take on more responsibility as you grow
