Job summary

Redlands Plumbing Heating & Air in Redlands, CA is seeking an HVAC Service Apprentice to join our long-standing local team. The role offers hands-on training, ongoing skill development, and customer-focused service experiences.

You will work with a team delivering maintenance and repairs on residential HVAC systems, with clear paths for career growth and opportunities to ride along with senior technicians. The position provides full-time hours, a competitive hourly wage, and strong employee

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Willingness to learn and commit to learning a trade.
• Mechanical experience or aptitude is desired.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Willing to work in extreme conditions (cold, wet, hot, confined spaces).
• Able to work in tight spaces (under houses, attics).
• Climb ladders up to 20 feet.
• Reliable transportation to/from the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on residential heating and air conditioning systems per company standards.
• Receive hands-on training by riding along with an experienced HVAC service technician.
• Develop technical skills, customer service, and consult customers about repairs and service needs.
• Assist in closing service calls and preferred sales opportunities.
