HVAC Sales Technician

Patriot Heating, Air & Fuel Oil - Bucks & Montgomery County, PA

Full-Time | $28 - $45 per hour + Commission and Spiffs | $10,000 Sign-On Bonus | Year-Round Work

This is a service technician job for someone who is good with homeowners and wants their pay to reflect it. On top of the hourly rate, you earn commission on the repair work you sell and spiffs on top of that.

We are not looking for parts changers. We want a technician who looks at the entire system, tells the customer the truth about what it needs and why, and gives them a price to make it right.

How it works

• Do a thorough evaluation of the customer's whole heating and cooling system on every call
• Educate the homeowner on what the equipment needs and why
• Quote every honest repair. We do not quote anything that is not needed
• Do the repair work and complete the ticket on a company iPad
• When a customer decides it may be time to replace the system, you hand it to our sales department, and you are paid if it sells

What you need

• 3+ years of residential HVAC service experience
• Strong diagnostic skills. You cannot recommend the right repair if you cannot find the problem
• Comfortable working on oil boilers and oil furnaces, or willing to learn. A large part of our work is oil heat
• Clear, respectful communication with homeowners
• EPA certification
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
