Overview

HVAC Sales Specialist

Position Type
  • This is a full-time sales exempt position. On target performers make $150k+, top performers make $250k+
  • This is a remote position traveling directly to customer homes from a home office environment. An efficient home office and reliable internet is required.
  • No cold-calling as all leads will be provided to you
  • Paid training provided
  • This position can require in excess of 40 hours a week.
Summary / Objective

The HVAC Sales Representative is responsible for driving and managing sales revenue within designated sales territories for the HVAC department. This role will require the management of the H&C opportunities assigned from initial visit or call, through completed system installations.

Responsibilities
  • Travels to customers’ homes to sell heating and cooling equipment, obtain orders or contracts for services which will be paid by customer.
  • Manages account through the full life cycle of sales to successful install.
  • Educates homeowners on the benefits of installing or improving their HVAC system.
  • Provides homeowners with an H&C consultative experience.
  • Obtains all sales/revenue objectives.
  • Provides exceptional customer service.
  • Works with all divisions to cross-sell multiple products.
  • Completes closing process and submits all necessary paperwork required in a timely manner.
  • Works closely with backend office support that handles customer financing and rebates.
  • Works closely with the install team.
  • Continually works towards self-improvement on learning products and selling skills.
  • Performs other tasks as required.

Required Skills / Experience
  • 1-3 years of experience working in home sales (roofing, siding, windows, renovations, etc) and managing the sales process from creating and presenting initial proposal to install completion. Previous HVAC sales is a huge plus but not required.
  • Developed computer literacy; experience with Salesforce or CRM platforms a plus
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Able to work independently as the employee works exclusively outside of the office
  • Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management systems a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Exceptional verbal, written and listening skills
Education / License Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • MA driver’s license
