Job summary

Diamond Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical is seeking an experienced HVAC Sales Manager to lead a team of Comfort Consultants and grow our residential sales operation. You will drive revenue, coach staff, and collaborate across installation, service, and dispatch to ensure customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do:

• As our HVAC Sales Manager, you’ll lead and develop a team of HVAC Comfort Consultants while helping drive the growth and success of our residential sales operation.
• You’ll be responsible for people, performance, process, and profit—creating a sales culture where consultants have the training, tools, and support they need to succeed.
• You’ll coach your team, monitor KPIs, ride along on appointments, help close opportunities, solve customer escalations, and continuously look for ways to improve the sales process.
• Drive monthly revenue, close rates, average ticket, and overall sales performance
• Partner with installation, service, dispatch, operations, and leadership to ensure sold jobs are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor job quality, callbacks, customer satisfaction, and overall sales performance
• Partner with leadership on forecasting, reporting, budgeting, and P&L performance
• This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who wants to make an impact—not just manage from a desk.

Requirements

• 5+ years of residential sales or in-home sales experience in a trade industry
• Proven success leading, coaching, or developing a sales team
• Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems, products, and installation processes
• Demonstrated ability to consistently hit or exceed sales goals
• Strong understanding of KPIs, sales metrics, and performance management
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Comfortable coaching sales consultants in the field
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
• Customer-first mindset with strong business judgment
• Comfortable using CRM systems and basic computer applications
• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
