Job summary

Accurate Mechanical in Circleville, OH seeks an HVAC Residential Service Technician to maintain, repair, and install home systems. You will diagnose issues, perform routine maintenance, and ensure safety and compliance with codes.

You will work in customers' homes, document service activities, and communicate options clearly. A valid HVAC certification/licensure and high school diploma are required; experience with energy efficiency and CMMS is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid HVAC technician certification or license as required by local regulations.
• Proven experience in residential HVAC system maintenance, repair, and installation.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems related to HVAC equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on residential HVAC systems to ensure optimal operation and compliance with safety standards.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment issues, including heating units, air conditioners, ventilation systems, and related components.
• Install new HVAC systems and components according to manufacturer specifications and local building codes.
• Provide clear explanations to customers regarding system conditions, repair options, and maintenance recommendations.
• Maintain accurate service records, including work performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
• Respond promptly to emergency service calls and troubleshoot problems efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve service processes and customer satisfaction.

The HVAC Residential Service Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the comfort and safety of residential customers by maintaining, repairing, and installing HVAC systems. The technician will work directly in customers' homes, delivering high-quality service that meets industry standards and company policies. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid HVAC technician certification or license as required by local regulations.
• Proven experience in residential HVAC system maintenance, repair, and installation.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems related to HVAC equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional certifications in specialized HVAC systems such as heat pumps or geothermal units.
• Experience with energy-efficient HVAC technologies and smart home integration.
