Base pay range

$26.50/hr - $32.00/hr

Position Details

Install Lead – VDLA, LLC d/b/a R.A. Hoy Heating and Air Conditioning seeks three (3) Install Lead candidates in Kitty Hawk, NC, for a temporary, full-time role from approximately 04/01/2025 to 10/31/2025, during peak season.

Responsibilities

• Supervise job sites and install HVAC equipment, ductwork, and zoning systems.
• Install air conditioning systems, perform maintenance like filter changes, duct cleaning, and refrigerant refilling.
• Install auxiliary components such as valves, ducts, pipes, blowers, dampers, flues, or stokers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC installation.
• EPA Certification for Refrigerant required.
• Must pass drug screening and background check.

Terms & Conditions

Full-time position, at least 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 7:30AM-4:30PM.

Wages start at no less than $26.70/hour, with potential increases based on experience (up to $35.00/hour). Overtime paid at 1.5x rate ($40.05–$52.50/hour). Weekly pay, all legal deductions apply.

On-the-job training provided. Employer supplies tools, supplies, and equipment at no cost.

Additional Benefits & Logistics

Transportation to worksites provided, including a work truck and gas card. Travel within Dare and Currituck counties.

Benefits after 90 days include Health, Dental, Vision, Short & Long Term Disability.

Transportation costs are covered, with conditions regarding contract completion and reimbursements for travel and subsistence.
