Job summary

Southeast Community College seeks an HVAC & Refrigeration Technology Instructor for Milford, CT. This full-time role involves delivering classroom and lab instruction, developing new courses, and updating existing ones to reflect current industry standards.

You will maintain facilities, advise students, and collaborate with College committees to ensure program quality and compliance. AAS/Bachelor’s in HVAC/R and EPA certification are preferred; teaching experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• AAS and/or Bachelor’s degree in HVAC/R or related field required; EPA certification expected.
• Experience teaching HVAC/R topics and developing curriculum is preferred.
• Ability to develop syllabi, tests, and instructional materials for laboratory and classroom settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in HVAC/R program courses at Milford campus and in related SCC locations.
• Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and assessment tools.
• Maintain and upgrade lab facilities and equipment for safe, effective learning.
