Responsibilities

• Performs preventive and repair maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, steam, and electronic components of environmental control systems and equipment associated with buildings.
• Installs replacement coils, motors, electronics, compressors, thermostats, and other components of chilled water and direct expansion environmental control systems.
• Utilizes measuring instruments and applies principles of thermodynamics and physics to resolve issues.
• Works with a team under the direction of work leaders to solve complex technical issues.
• Maintains records and prepares reports on repairs and services.
• Reads and interprets drawings and technical manuals.
• Participates in the On-Call Program and keeps accurate documentation of all systems.

Required Qualifications

High school graduation or GED. Three years of experience as an HVACR technician. Type II or Universal EPA certification. Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate's degree from a technical or vocational school. Experience as an HVACR technician in a commercial or industrial setting. More than three years of journey level experience.

Salary Range

$52,000 + depending on qualifications

Work Shift

• 40 Hour Work Week Schedule; Monday-Friday, Swing Shift 02:00 PM & 02:00 AM.
