Job summary

Hiring Today in Rutland, VT is seeking an experienced Refrigeration/HVAC technician to join our shop-based maintenance team. The ideal candidate holds universal Refrigeration/HVAC certification and has hands-on diagnostic and repair experience, plus a valid license and a clean driving record.

A company vehicle will be provided. We value basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical skills, and the role includes on-call duties with some nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Universal Certification in Refrigeration/HVAC.
• Completion of Refrigeration/HVAC program from Trade School preferred.
• Experience in refrigeration/HVAC diagnostic and repair.
• Valid license with clean driving record; company vehicle provided.
• Basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical skills.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and be self-managed.
• Must pass pre-employment DOT physical, drug screen, and background check.
