What You’ll Be Doing

As a Nextech HVAC/R Technician, you’ll deliver reliable, high-quality service to commercial clients, handling troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance — you’re the trusted expert for our customers.

Your daily tasks may include:

• Diagnosing and repairing HVAC/R systems, including electrical, mechanical, and electronic components
• Performing maintenance and emergency services, including after-hours on-call rotations
• Documenting all service details accurately using company-provided iPads
• Maintaining your company vehicle, tools, and parts inventory to high standards
• Communicating clearly with customers and dispatch to ensure smooth scheduling and service
• Identifying additional service opportunities and sharing them with customers

Compensation

Minimum: USD $25.00/hr
Maximum: USD $40.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality technical service, demonstrating integrity and value
• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, cooling, and refrigeration units for commercial clients
• Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical system components
• Travel to job sites, coordinate with dispatch, and communicate delays to customers
• Work nights or weekends on a rotating basis for emergency service
• Maintain vehicle, equipment, and documentation standards
• Identify opportunities for additional business and report them

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 2 years recent experience as an HVAC/R technician
• EPA certification and valid driver’s license
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read schematics and work plans
• Comfort with mobile apps and technology
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, commitment to quality
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed

Physical Requirements

This role is physically active. You should be able to:

• Lift up to 100 lbs
• Stand, climb, kneel, crouch, bend, and work with tools for extended periods
• Operate devices like iPads, phones, and power tools
• Work indoors and outdoors in commercial settings
